Kaleb is about to turn 30 and has never been lonelier. He’s fighting with his sister over an inheritance and has cut ties with his best friend. Fascinated by exotic animals, he finds a venomous spider in a shop and brings it back to his apartment. It only takes a moment for the spider to escape and reproduce, turning the whole building into a dreadful web trap. The only option for Kaleb and his friends is to find a way out and survive.

I saw this movie on TikTok and this lady was reviewing it. I love overseas movies especially the horror genre as they are more detailed and interesting. The acting, the characters everything about it was good, I’m a huge um b**ch when it comes to spiders I just CANNOT STAND THEM. So when I originally watched this I thought I would be tweaking and constantly thinking about spiders let alone when I went to bed, but nothing! Only thing that would have made it just a push better (but would probably ruin the authenticity of the spiders) is when they were in the parking garage and the male friend runs through the door to help save the three others if a BIG and I mean BIG spider came through instead of all the little to medium size ones. Other than that-the movie was great!
been years since a decent spider horror movie, and while this one is not perfect, it does have the creep factor. What brings it down are the unlikable characters, and rather poor decision by most of the characters in the film, and while the movie give you the spider creep factor nonstop through it, most of the deaths are either offscreen or rather tame. It would of been nice to see a little more in my opinion, and while the acting isn't horrible, wish the story carried more on the things in it. but overall still a decent watch.

This director is going to make the next Evil Dead. Thats not promising when he messes up this idiot proof premise. Great first act. Great set up. Great mood setting. Then completely breaks down when focusing on the obnoxious irredeemably annoying lead characters. I hope the characters in his Evil Dead are all deaf so they have to sign instead of talking over each other.
